This is our own, CelticRenaissanceMusic, Complete African Blackwood "Touring" Set. Includes: Our hard body, World Tour, travel case (aluminum and wood case pictured), and Three (3) full sets of reeds: Bass Drone Reed, Baritone Reed and Tenor Reed. With Three (3) sets of reeds, it will be some time before you incur that expense again! Nobody takes care of your needs as we do, as we really do care about music and this particularly great instrument.
The Uilleann Pipe Instuction Book with Cd by Heather Clarke is also included, or if you do not need it, you can delete it. Our Uilleanns play in the Key of D and have a THREE (3) key chanter. We include $10.99 shipping to the Contiguous 48 United States and CANADA. If you are in the 48 states and prefer USPS Priority Mail, let us know and we will send your set to you in that method, no additional charge.
We notice other websites stating it takes as many as ten to twelve months to get their set. The reason for the extra long delay is they are waiting for a distributor to stock them. They have no control over the product or the making of it. We do not buy from a distributor. These are our own pipes. We are all musicians here and our products reflect our music dedicated lifestyle.
RETAIL of this great Set is: $4,999.99 and Our Sale Price is ONLY: $2350.50, plus shipping.
Unless you buy one we have in stock, this is a custom, made to order item, for you . Delivery time varies from 12 to 18 weeks. Worth the wait and they are made for YOU!
THESE ARE NOT THROWN TOGETHER. THESE ARE NOT THE SAME UILLEANNS YOU SEE ON ALMOST EVERY SITE YOU VISIT. IT REALLY DOES TAKE SIGNIFICANT TIME TO BUILD OUR SETS. WE HAVE SEEN THE COMPETITION AND THESE ARE CLEARLY A LEAGUE AHEAD OF THEM. CUSTOM FEATURES, AT ADDITIONAL COST, SUCH AS STERLING SILVER, SPECIAL ENGRAVINGS, INITIALS, ETC., ARE AVAILABLE ON A QUOTE BASIS. This price is good for our basic set, with three (3) key chanter and a hard body world tour case, Heather Clarke's Instruction Manual with CD, Michale Vignoles' Uilleann Music CD and, as long as supplies last, a Uilleann Music book with numerous tunes you can learn to play. Orders must be pre-paid and, regardless of any policy stated on this site to the contrary, are non-refundable unless we fail to procure the ordered bagpipes.
These are made to our specifications by a multi generational company which has its bagpipes on display in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, Scotland. Not too many companies enjoy that honor! Do not be misled into thinking that if you order "Ebony" wood pipes that they will be African Blackwood. Ebony wood is not African Blackwood. Though both are members of the rosewood family, the "Ebony" wood is of a different species than African Blackwood and is more brittle, less lustrous and lacks many other woodworking characteristics!
