The Didgeridoo is one of the other HOT new instruments with Celtic bands. They add a fabulous low, vibrating, mystical tone to your sound. This one is made of PVC. It measures 47 1/2 inches x 1 5/8 inches with a 2 3/4 inch bell. This item includes a rubber mouthpiece and cover.
Playing the Didgeridoo:
Stick your bottom lip out just a little beyond your upper lip. Blow through your loose lips to make the lowest buzz sound that you can. Buzz them as if you were giving someone the ‘raspberry. To play the didgeridoo,
blow into the mouthpiece while creating the same buzzing with your lips. It is important to keep your lips relaxed. Trying too hard usually causes the beginner to tighten their lips- stay loose. Once you have mastered the drone. You can alter the pitch of the drone by slightly tightening your lips. You will know how tight is too tight when the sound stops. You can add rhythm to your drones by altering when you take breaths.
The length and thickens of the didgeridoo will determine which key the instrument will be in. The shorter the instrument, the higher the pitch; while the longer the instrument, the lower the pitch.

A Pair of split bamboo percussion sticks, 24 inches and 20 inches. Each stick has a tuning hole. Natural cracks will develop in the bamboo. The cracks add to the awesome buzzing sound. They are made in the northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. Also known as Buzz sticks, these split bamboo sticks were traditionally use in the Philippine Islands. They can be played in ensembles for the Kayabang dance; with separate players each playing one stick. In rural villages, people would carry the devil chasers and play them as they walked in order to scare away animals (or spirits) in their path. These are fun!
The bamboo makes a buzzing when the split ends are bounced off the palm or knee. The buzz is due to the crack that goes most of the way down the instrument. A small hole near the bottom is covered and uncovered by the thumb to produce a wah-wah effect.

We take music seriously and here is a serious way to get your young 'Piper started! We begin with our 12 inch by 14 inch bagpipes. They have a Royal Stewart Tartan RED Plaid cover and a functional Rosewood Chanter. Three non-functioning drones, but they look good, and are not plastic, but actual RoseWood. Kids being kids, we include a spare synthetic chanter reed.
We include a seasoned rosewood practice chanter that is SIZED FOR SMALLER FINGERS and SMALLER LUNGS (pipers always begin learning the pipes with a practice chanter), the excellent BAGPIPE TEACHER DVD, ...so your young 'Piper can see...and hear...how to play. We package this in a genuine bagpipe carrying case.
Parents, even with the DVD and the simplified bagpipe set, this will still require you provide some help to the new "Piper. In a few months, your youngster can be ready for a complete bagpipe set with functional tenor drones, bass drone, along with a functional chanter.
