This beautiful Folkcraft Legend Series Hammered Dulcimer features an extended range and a huge, vibrant sound. With sixteen treble courses and fifteen bass courses, the 16/15 has a total of forty-seven notes and plays the major keys of "D", "G", "C", "F", "A", and a lower octave "D". On this dulcimer the key of "C" is able to be played as a full chromatic scale. This is a great, American Made, Hammered Dulcimer. The Folkcraft Legend 16/15 has a unique arched construction that provides exceptional strength without the penalty of adding so much wood that the instrument weighs so much that it can't resonate properly.
