This frog is 6.5 inches along the ridges, from the tip of his chin to his tail; and 3.25 inches tall. Hold him in the palm of your hand, so he faces the same direction you do. To make hip chirp, rub the wooden plectrum over the ridges on his back. It’s important that you rub from tail to head. If you want to make him ribb-it, rub the plectrum from tail to head and then back down a couple ridges; all in one fluid motion. Now you can change the tone of the rib-it by covering and uncovering the holes at each side of his smile. Hold him nice, don’t let him hop away!

Parents, even with the DVD and the simplified bagpipe set, this will still require you provide some help to the new "Piper. The Didgeridoo is one of the other HOT new instruments with Celtic bands. They add a fabulous low, vibrating, mystical tone to your sound. This one is made of PVC. It measures 47 1/2 inches x 1 5/8 inches with a 2 3/4 inch bell. This item includes a rubber mouthpiece and cover.
Playing the Didgeridoo:
Stick your bottom lip out just a little beyond your upper lip. Blow through your loose lips to make the lowest buzz sound that you can. Buzz them as if you were giving someone the ‘raspberry. To play the didgeridoo,
blow into the mouthpiece while creating the same buzzing with your lips. It is important to keep your lips relaxed. Trying too hard usually causes the beginner to tighten their lips- stay loose. Once you have mastered the drone. You can alter the pitch of the drone by slightly tightening your lips. You will know how tight is too tight when the sound stops. You can add rhythm to your drones by altering when you take breaths.
The length and thickens of the didgeridoo will determine which key the instrument will be in. The shorter the instrument, the higher the pitch; while the longer the instrument, the lower the pitch.

Children love the multitude of bright colors this instrument offers! The Kokinko is made up of 18 pieces of brightly colors wood with handles of natural stained wood at each end. The pieces are attached at the back by a long piece of leather stapled to the wood. It is 10 1/2 inches long and approximately 3 inches wide. The small, colored, pieces of wood move back and forth independently in a rather snake-like undulating fashion. Large...Faerie Blemished...Rosewood thumb piano, 5" x 7", 17 steel keys and two vibrato holes on the back. The thumb piano originates in Africa. It is also known as the mbira or likembe. The metal keys are mounted on a wooden box that acts as the resonating chamber. To play, rest the thumb piano on the fingers of both hands and hold it between your palms. Cover the vibrato holes with your fingers. Then pluck the keys with your thumbs. As you play you can un-cover and cover the vibrato holes as you like. Many different tunings are acceptable, according to personal preference. Specific tuning of a thumb piano is only an issue when two instruments are played together; then they should generally agree in tuning. Otherwise, the tuning is subjective and should only be pleasing to the player. The longer keys have lower pitches and shorter keys have higher pitches. RAINBOW PATTERN. If you have never heard one- you are in for a treat. This simple tube shaped instrument has a wire spring dangling from a synthetic REMO Fiberskyn head. Even the most musically deprived will be able to make a variety of special effects sounds. Roll and shake it to create rumbling thunder. Strike it on the spring to get a thunder clap, or maybe that was laser fire from Captain Kirk! Drag a stick along the spring to change the sound yet again. Tap and rap the head to add dramatic beats. You can vary the pitch by putting your hand over the opening. A must have item; too much fun to only have one.
